I have had the privilege of having my daughter, Ridhi, by my side throughout this campaign, and I could not be more grateful for her dedication, energy, and belief in our community.
Ridhi’s involvement in politics began after she experienced gun violence and felt compelled to advocate for change. She reached out to elected officials across Oregon, and House Majority Leader Ben Bowman was the one who responded. After hearing Ridhi’s story and seeing her determination, he offered her a legislative fellowship, giving her firsthand experience in public policy and strengthening her desire to serve her community.
When I decided to run for the Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District Board, Ridhi immediately stepped up as my campaign manager. She has led communications, fundraising, voter outreach, and campaign logistics; emceed our campaign launch; coordinated fundraising and volunteers; and helped secure community endorsements.
Ridhi also designed and built our campaign website, implemented SEO strategies, created digital content, and helped expand our reach across multiple platforms.
As her mother, watching Ridhi turn her passion for change into meaningful public service has been incredibly rewarding. I am so proud to have her not only as my daughter, but as a leader on my campaign and in our community.
